WRITER WELLNESS NOW HAS A COMPANION WORKBOOK
Dear Readers,
If you’re familiar with my book Writer Wellness: A Writer’s Path to Health and Creativity, you know it contains over one hundred activities related to the five key concepts of journaling, fitness, relaxation, nutrition, and creative play. So, why would there be any need for a companion workbook? Because as I’ve taught this idea as a workshop to hundreds of students over many years, I discovered that several of them would appreciate a way to organize and expand on the key concepts. And I love journals, so, I wanted to offer a blank journal specifically for Writer Wellness warriors.
What’s unique about the workbook is its large size with plenty of room to write in your answers, make notes in the margins, and fill in the blank journal pages. You could even take it apart, punch holes in the pages, and put the whole book into a three-ring binder if you like. There are 31 blank pages with journaling prompts that are easy to duplicate for other months of the year. AND there is plenty of room everywhere for stickers! What’s a journal these days without stickers? Another special aspect is that the workbook is a stand-alone title that anyone can complete without having read the Mama-title.
The awesome folks at Headline Books, Inc. have published the workbook, and it’s available to order online or through me. August is National Wellness Month and getting a copy of Writer Wellness the workbook would be a fantastic way to celebrate!
