JH: What inspired you to write Dead Eyes in Late Summer?
RE: A piece from a prompt in a writing class outlined Innis Crawford, a southern gentleman.
JH: What one thing do you love most about writing?
RE: Becoming acquainted with my characters as they develop.
JH: What’s next for you in the way of writing/publishing?
RE: Publishing my newest novel "Writers Cramped" about a writer and her journey through the publishing world.

BIO:
Renee is the author of two published novels and her numerous short stories appear in literary journals. She was recently a finalist for the Tobias Wolff Fiction Award for her short story, "Like A Pearl." Renee studied English Literature at Georgetown University and was invited and attended The Tom Jenks Workshop in San Francisco. She considers the Workshop as a defining moment in her writing career in literary fiction.

Fascinating dilemma. Not just the time travel, but the feelings of the heroine, which man does she love? Also I admire the courage of the title. I think it will attract readers.
