Pocket Journal Drawing Winner!
Congratulations to author NANCY J. FAGAN who won the February drawing for the pocket journal and Writer Wellness swag. Thanks to all who entered. Watch for the March drawing at the end of the month.
Book Signing in Charleston, WV
I had a splendid time at a book signing organized by my publisher Headline Books, Inc. in Charleston, WV at the Winter Blues Farmer’s Market. The attendance was amazing, and we sold lots of books. Thanks again to Cathy Teets and Ashley Belote of Headline for the support they give their authors! Can’t wait for my next book (currently in the works) to be available from this quality company. I’m proud to be a Headline Books, Inc. author.
Subscription Box Idea (input welcome)
I’m toying with the idea of starting a themed subscription box program focused on writing and reading. In this planning stage, I’m scoping out potential products to include in the program. I’m looking for useful, entertaining, and pertinent items created by writers. The intention is to source the box content primarily with things made by writers for writers and readers. I’m hunting writers who craft writing/reading themed items available at wholesale cost and low minimums. If you already subscribe to a box service of some kind, I would love to know what you like and dislike about the process and the product. Music I’m Listening To
I live in an area that has had a mild winter thus far. Since I’m not a winter fan, this is okay with me. I’m listening to “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head” by B. J. Thomas because we’ve had rain instead of snow, I love rain, and it reminds me of younger dancing days when I was learning how to choreograph dances. This song was the inspiration for my first solo choreography work in junior high school.
