In May 2023 I published this blog post with the reasons why I decided to start
My WriteDay subscription box.
Today, I celebrate a year of boxes, and I want to take this opportunity to thank the subscribers (especially the original charter members who are still with me), supporters, friends, and creators who have contributed to making this anniversary possible.
In the last year I’ve learned what an “unboxing video” is and have been absolutely grateful for them. Like this one from Jessie Miller Unboxings and More
Three new logos have been developed along with two new lines of boxes.
I have learned how to navigate the shipping world, niche advertising, and social media. And I have had an absolute blast shopping for products in line with the concepts of Writer Wellness. And I’ve met some great people who make great products like Nancy Tackett’s Rainbow Blessings and Louise McGinnis’s Other Worldly Soaps.
As I said last year, the goal for My WriteDay was to connect with writers and readers through education, appreciation, and support. To expand on that idea, there are new kids in the house as I have instituted gift boxes for grades 5-6 and 7-8 focusing on language arts development. While WriteDay Kids and WriteDay Teen are single purchase gift boxes now, the plan is to offer a quarterly subscription for those lines sometime in 2025. There are also plans to offer a basic monthly subscription next year as well.
For now, the current “Happy Anniversary My WriteDay” box is available for new subscribers for one more day then the shopping cart closes until November. The price is only $59.00 and includes free shipping in the continental U.S. (Hawaii and Alaska require additional shipping charges.)

My WRITEDAY is a subscription box program that delivers curated products from authors, creators, and small businesses to writers and readers in the continental U.S. It’s unique in that many products are sourced from writers who are also crafters and artisans. The idea behind My WRITEDAY is to help writers spend more time creating stories, engaging with like-minded book friends, and enjoying the juicy, creative life they deserve.
