NOVEMBER/DECEMBER BOX REVEAL!
What's Inside the "Holiday Hoopla" Box?
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER SUBSCRIPTION BOX REVEAL!
November 13, 2023
Welcome to “Holiday Hoopla” the November/December box. It’s packed with seasonal and functional goodies.
1. Featured writing craft book: Writing Archetypal Character Arcs: The Hero’s Journey and Beyond by award-winning author K. M. Weiland. This book is hot off the presses and an intense look at developing fictional characters around six important archetypes based on the key moments of the human experience. If you’ve read anything about the hero’s journey concept for creating riveting story, then Weiland’s book will help you flesh out the actors in the story. She’s written an exclusive message for MWD subscribers which will be included in the Nov./Dec. MWD digital magazine. Sit tight! It will hit your inbox in a couple of weeks. K. M. has also included a signed book plate inside each book.
2. Jewelry: I’m not as crazy about jewelry as some people, but I love me a cute and subtle statement piece like this green enamel typewriter pin. I’ve seen others dress up their convention badges with these adorable little pins.
3. Writing tool: This great set of five ballpoint pens will have you writing like a boss writer and reminding yourself to do the good things for yourself and others every day. With this many in the package, there is one for the desk, purse/pocket, journal, laptop bag, and to share with a friend! Write on!
4. Decadent treat (it’s the holidays!): Heat up the milk of your choice and stir, stir, stir this choco-peppermint stick until you have a scrumptious cup of hot chocolate.
5. Healthy treat: The packet of Heart Healthy Blend is perfect for a just-right crunchy, chewy snack at your desk or after a workout. Enjoy all the many textures and flavors chosen by Orchard Valley Harvest to benefit your heart health.
6. Soap: Yep! It’s a bar of soap shaped like a typewriter and handmade in the US by our friends at Chubby Chico Charms. I couldn’t resist getting one of these soaps for myself, but I have to admit I can’t bring myself to use it. Cuteness out of this writerly world, if you ask me!
7. Holiday ornament: For your holiday tree, to hang on the rearview mirror, or attach to the handle of your laptop bag, this adorable holiday ornament is custom made in the US by Skraps artist Kristi Parrish. And it’s exclusive to MWD subscribers this season. Don’t you love it?
Still not done! I always go overboard at the holidays. I love them so.
8. Blank greeting card: Also handcrafted in the US by Skraps artist Kristi Parrish is the custom blank greeting card. Kristi and I worked together to come up with a design which is unique to MWD subscribers only. It makes just the right shabby chic statement on the front with space for your message inside. Love it!
9. Books By My Friends promotions: My book friends Diana Reep and Fran Hawthorne have each included a postcard with information about their books available everywhere. I highly recommend visiting their websites and telling them, “Joy sent me!”
10. Thoughtfulls popout greeting: Or it could be a quick journal prompt. Either way, I’m always finding places to share a Thoughtfull.
Almost done!
11. Free mystery gift: Every subscriber is receiving a free mystery gift in the Nov./Dec. box. I wrapped each one and chose them at random for the boxes. They’re all different. Decorate a little writer tree with your new ornament and put your surprise gift under it to open whenever you want.
Subscribers watch your email for the Nov./Dec. issue of My WriteDay Digital Magazine.
Not a subscriber? No time like the present to hop over to My WriteDay and place your order. $59.00 plus tax (includes shipping.) Available while supplies last.
